Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born and raised in Canada and is most well-known to Canadians because of her character as a Canadian actress in the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. In addition, she was a part of in Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea and a'que te love. Emeraude Toubia also is an accomplished model and dancer. As a Montreal native, she grew up in Texas and was always attracted to dance and performing. She has been training in various dance styles since she was young. As a 15-year-old, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous for her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant series. In 2010, she was the receptionist in Telemundo telenovela Aurora. In 2015, she was in her debut feature film, an action drama called Tattooed Love.
