Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic music composer, performer and singer. He combines soul gospel with R&B to make a distinctive mix. From Broadway to European clubs and festivals, Avery Sunshine has been a hit everywhere. Sunshine has been born Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta but she is from Chester Pennsylvania where she began her music career by singing and playing piano in churches. After attending Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on Atlanta's R&B musical scene. The Fighting Temptations The single with her voice on it,"Stalk You the House was released only in Japan. It's been re-mixed several times, and it's a major part of her live shows. She also has contributed her voices for The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. She was appointed as the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's production Meet the Browns in 2005. In 2007, Grammy and Tony Award winning vocalist Jennifer Holliday sought her out to become the choral director for the stage production of Dreamgirls during the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine earned national fame for her daily shows in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was then invited to perform during President Obama's 2009 inauguration.
