Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known in the media as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz' father was editor and author and editor, as was Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's father is from an ethnically Jewish family Ryder thinks she's Jewish. She is the younger sister of Uria and two half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder moved with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. The family lived in a place without electric power. The books on television were the only way for Ryder to spend the time and she was a voracious reader. In 1983 when she was 12 years old, Ryder joined the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas The film from 1986 that she was in, was her debut major character. Ryder was just fifteen when she landed the role. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Ryder believed that her future as an actor would be able to help. However, it didn't come to pass. Still she continued pursuing her goals. Her breakthrough came through Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder played roles that were successful in various films. In 1993, he was nominated twice for Academy Awards.
