Dana Elaine Owens - better known to the public as Queen Latifah, is an American actress, rapper and acrobat. Queen Latifah is an American rapper, actress as well as a singer. Queen Latifah is the daughter of the Newark New Jersey schoolteacher and an Newark New Jersey police officer Lancelot Owens Senior, was raised and born within Newark New Jersey.
